Jiva (pronounced ‘jee-vah’) is Sanskrit for “the immortal essence of a living being” — a soul, if you will. Jiva Tree is an experimental blend of delightfully haunting vocals and lyrics, dynamic rhythms and playful melodies that arouse the intricacies of your ears and tickle your imagination.
Inspired by nature, human interactions, poetry and a diverse range of artistic and musical styles, Jiva Tree creates an original ambiance from strings, keys, percussion, bass, wind instruments, and of course... sisterly harmonies.
