Writing and performing since the age of twelve, Megan Lane intrigues her audiences with a fusion of passionate, rich vocals and a gut wrenching guitar style. This cohesion is truly unforgettable and unique to this young contemporary artist. In 2004, she released her first album, Purple and Blue. The Western Canadian Music Awards nominated this album for “Outstanding Blues Recording”. Lane has toured her follow-up release, Wrapped in Plastic (2006), across Canada and continues to expand her fanbase with an enthusiastic and original show. Writing from her heart and experiences, Lane crosses boundaries and labels establishing a diverse audience. Lane is pleased to release her third album, Bow and Drill the Spark on May 15th, 2009.
